In a genuine emergency you should call 999. this might include - 

  • Signs of a heart attack - pain like a very tight band, heavy weight or squeezing in the centre of your chest
  • Signs of a stroke - face dropping on one side, can't hold both arms up, difficulty in speaking, or weakness or numbness on one side of your body
  • Severe difficulty breathing - gasping, not being ablke to get words out, choking or lips turning blue
  • Heavy bleeding that won't stop - uncontrollable bleeding from any part of your body
  • Severe injuries - including deep cuts after a serious incident

When we are closed

Protected Learning Time

All Clinicians have to attend regular training sessions to ensure their professional development is maintained. To enable them to do this, the practice will be closed for one afternoon every month for Protected Learning Time between 1pm and 6.30pm.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
