The BeYou Project

LGBTQ+ young people can sometimes feel isolated from their families and communities.

The BeYou Project is here to help. It supports eight to 25-year-olds in Kent and Medway by:

• providing advice around coming out and other LGBTQ+ related issues
• running weekly meet-ups – safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces where they can be themselves and make friends
• helping parents and carers to be there for the LGBTQ+ young person in their life.

The BeYou Project is part of the charity Porchlight. Staff help LGBTQ+ young people develop the skills, confidence and connections they need to thrive.
